Opened: 2013

Mettoh School is about five miles due south of the major market town of Lawra.  It is situated along a dirt track along the main road that leads south towards the regional capital of Wa. Like all of our schools, it is situated in the savannah grassland: the dusty orange track is surrounded by grass and shrubland, punctuated by venerable kapok and baobab trees.

The school was opened in 2013 and commissioned in a formal ceremony in October 2014. The speech of the Paramount Chief of Lawra District at the school’s formal opening  is here.
